Welcome to the first-ever update on Tranquillity Manchester, the East Wing at Berkeley Square! Eight weeks in, and we’re thrilled to share what’s happening on-site as this exciting new part of the Berkeley Square development takes shape.

Progress So Far

Our main focus so far has been laying down a rock-solid foundation. It might not be the most glamorous stage, but it’s crucial for everything else to come. Here’s what’s been happening:

• Foundation and Piling: We’ve been working on a deep foundation, with reinforced piling now complete across key areas. It’s all about ensuring stability from the ground up.
• Tower Cranes: If you’ve passed by, you may have noticed the third crane rising up. It’s fully operational, with a fourth on the way, helping us move heavy materials more efficiently.
• Waterproofing and Drainage: To keep the lower levels protected, we’re adding waterproofing and drainage systems. It’s the kind of work that may not be visible but makes all the difference in the building’s durability.

What’s Coming Next

With much of the groundwork wrapped up, we’re looking forward to kicking off the above-ground construction phase:

• Foundation Wrap-Up and Core Columns: We’ll be completing foundation work in the coming weeks and installing the first columns on the lower floors, officially marking the start of vertical construction.
• Structure Taking Shape: We’re preparing slip forms and core columns, and before long, Tranquillity Manchester will start to rise!

Utilities and Design Work

We’re making sure everything is set up for future residents by coordinating with utility providers for electricity, water, and telecom connections. At the same time, our design teams are enhancing the landscaping to create a seamless connection between Tranquillity Manchester and the lively Berkeley Square community.
