For our July update, we are once again proud to confirm that progress remains ahead of schedule. With large areas of the Façade brick slip system complete, some balconies installed and lift installations complete; The Heaton Group are making great strides towards the final build stages.
What’s Been Happening
- Façade Progress: Façade brick slip system completed in areas and mast climbers have been stripped. All other elevations of brick slips are progressing in conjunction with cleaning programs. Our window contractor has been briefed to complete cills, mastic and juiliette balustrades.
- Apartments and Internal Works:
- All internal partitions are now complete.
- Second and final MEP fixes have reached levels 6 and 7, with commissioning ongoing to ground and second and third floor apartments.
- Internal finishes of kitchens and wall/floor tiling installations are complete, with joinery progressing to the final few apartments.
- Level 6 apartments are being final decorated, while 68 apartments on level 2 have completed the snagging process.
- Lifts and Common Areas: All lift installations are complete and two lifts have been commissioned for beneficial use. Final commissioning to complete in due course. The corridor plaster boarding has progressed to level 8, with the staircase and lift lobby plastering making steady progress.
- Balconies and External Features: Roof terraces insulation and paving has commenced to the level 6 roof. The PV system has also been delivered to the roof area.

What’s Coming Up
- Continue brick slip façade insulation/render, brick slips and window cill/mastic/balustrade completion as mast climbers are stripped.
- Progress with balcony installation.
- Roof terrace insulation and paving.
- Continue with decoration to levels 6, 7 and 8. Final fix of joinery continuing and snagging of completed apartments.
Design and Quality
- Air tests carried out to 134 apartments, with all apartments passed.
- Acoustic testing carried out, in three visits so far, equating to 50% of the requirement, all passed with the comments made that the standard is very good.
Looking Ahead
Despite off-site delays, power on is now expected mid to end of August 2025. Temporary power is currently being used to provide apartment and corridor lighting. As we begin to install rooftop insulation and paving, completion is now in sight. Project is currently at week 118 of 139, and we look forward to sharing the final stages with you.
