March has been another busy and productive month at Berkeley Square Manchester<\/a>. Now at week 100 of 139, the project remains five weeks ahead of schedule, with key progress made across the building.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s Been Happening<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • Fa\u00e7ade and External Work<\/strong>: Insulation, rendering, and brick slip installation are now progressing across all elevations, giving the building a polished and robust appearance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Internal Fit-Out<\/strong>: Internal partitions are advancing on levels 6, 7, and 8, while mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works continue. The second and final fixes are moving along on level 3, with first fixes being completed on levels 7 and 8.\n

    • Floor finishes and first coat painting are progressing on level 5.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Kitchens, wall and floor tiling, and joinery are being installed on levels 4 and 5.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Level 3 apartments are receiving final decorations, while snagging is ongoing for ground and level 1 apartments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A total of 27 apartments are now complete and ready for inspection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Lifts and Utilities<\/strong>: The last lift installation in core 1 is progressing well. Combined sprinkler and domestic water supply are now live in the building, using generator power and a temporary water supply. Full power is anticipated by the end of April, with the substation installation now complete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Testing and Compliance<\/strong>: Air tests on 39 apartments have all passed, averaging a result of 2.72. Acoustic testing is now 50% complete, with feedback noting a high standard of quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
