Our journey towards creating a premier living development in Manchester continues progressing smoothly.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-project-overview\">Project Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recent-construction-achievements\">Recent Construction Achievements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Structural Milestones<\/strong>: The slabs and frames for the lower ground to level 5 floors are complete. We&#8217;ve also made significant progress on levels 6 and 7.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Masonry and Walls<\/strong>: Internal masonry for the lower ground floor is done, and work on the perimeter external wall is ongoing, especially on the north elevation and courtyard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Key Installations<\/strong>: The attenuation tank and SFS (Structural Framing System) are in place from the lower ground to level 2 on the river elevation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sprinkler and Pipework<\/strong>: Installation of the SVP\/RWP, sprinkler pipework, and dry riser pipework has begun, alongside soffit insulation in the lower ground floor area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-s-next\">What&#8217;s Next?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking ahead, here&#8217;s what we plan to tackle next:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Concrete Pours<\/strong>: Continue with the floor slab pours for levels 6, 7, and 8.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Masonry Work<\/strong>: Complete the perimeter masonry walls for the lower ground floor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Facade and Windows<\/strong>: Progress with SFS curtain wall and window installations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fa\u00e7ade Insulation<\/strong>: Start the fa\u00e7ade insulation and render base coat applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mechanical and Electrical Installations<\/strong>: Focus on M&amp;E containment and pipework installations in the car park risers and residential floors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Construction Equipment<\/strong>: Install mast climbers and hoists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"5166\" src=\"https:\/\/heatongroup.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Berkeley-Square-Lower-Floors-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"A photo of Berkeley Square development\" class=\"wp-image-5166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/heatongroup.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Berkeley-Square-Lower-Floors-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/heatongroup.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Berkeley-Square-Lower-Floors-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/heatongroup.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Berkeley-Square-Lower-Floors-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/heatongroup.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Berkeley-Square-Lower-Floors-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/heatongroup.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Berkeley-Square-Lower-Floors-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-design-updates\">Design Updates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our design team has been busy refining and updating key aspects of the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Drawings and Details<\/strong>: Updated strip sections, roof details, and window schedule elevations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Structural Work<\/strong>: Finalised setting out drawings for roof slabs and escape stair designs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Facade and Landscape<\/strong>: Issued stoneguard brick slip fa\u00e7ade drawings and S278 drawings to SCC Highways.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-utilities-and-infrastructure\">Utilities and Infrastructure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Electricity<\/strong>: Points of Connection are confirmed; designs are being adjusted for the Media City location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Water<\/strong>: Connection is set in Ordsall Lane, with ongoing design.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Telecom<\/strong>: The site is registered, and duct routes with Open Reach are agreed upon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Drainage<\/strong>: Final agreements for connections are being finalised with Peel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-quality-assurance\">Quality Assurance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We ensure the highest standards through regular inspections and material submittals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Inspections<\/strong>: Pre-pour checks on columns and slabs are ongoing, with no issues reported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Independent Reviews<\/strong>: Building Control and warranty provider inspections continue smoothly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">Conclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re excited about the progress at Berkeley Square and remain dedicated to delivering this project on time.
